Inventory Control

Metalworking Lubricants Company will deplete existing inventory while maintaining a comfortable cushion on-site. In short, this demands Metalworking Lubricants Company to use a JIT delivery system to remain profitable by optimizing current storage space. An exclusive in the concept, will be second tier suppliers and their commitment to delivery on time.

Metalworking Lubricants Company will establish reorder points on all material covered under the Chemical Management Program, based on previous usage and ideas for reduction.

Starting this approach demands identifying current approved materials and making sure certain oil can be depleted i.e. one hydraulic oil versus two. However, Metalworking Lubricants Company would confirm with the machine manufacturer to ensure proper lubrication is currently used and is not deviating to an inferior oil. For instance, we would not use regular oil in a hydraulic unit using servo valves.

We would begin immediately on approved items, to phase in our own products with larger volume and least critical applications.

As the program progresses, additional products would be introduced. With most all products, our new materials would be added as make-up. We would not intend to obsolete an item via the dump or recharge. These changes and recharging would be in conjunction with your personnel and maintenance schedules.
